about

Belgian DJ and producer Gratts returns in superb Balearic fashion here with a new song he penned for his two young sons, Leo and Ziggy. 'Sun Circles' also makes the first release from new South Australia-based label Be Strong Be Free. It is dreamy house with gently breaking synth waves and majestic twinkling chords as well as some brilliantly sultry sax lines and vocals. The tune was recorded over the last year and a half in various studios with musicians such as New Zealand-born Nathan Haines, London's Mr Beale, Belgians Jasper Hautekiet, Levi Wynants and Frederik Kuhn.

lyrics

Some days are hard
Struggles around
People just don’t make sense
You’re feeling down

Sun’s shining out
You’re staying in
Don’t feel like facing the world
and so called friends

Don’t forget to care about yourself
Find your strength, your power
You got what it takes
To make a difference every day
(Every day)

Live in the now
Don’t let shit get you down
(Down down down down down)

Because you’ll see
(Oh, you will see)

Just be strong
(Just be strong)
and you’ll be free

Oh you will be free
Live in the now for me
Don’t let life wear you down

One more time
Live in the now for me

There will be so many better days
(Yeah yeah better days for you)
(Days for you)

Live in the now for me
Don’t let life wear you down

Because the sun goes on in circles all over again
Because the sun goes round and round in circles all over again
Live in the now for me

The sun goes on and on in circles all over again
The sun goes on and on in circles all again and again
